Ranger's Code

Ethics of the Wild

We are guests in their home. Adhering to these rules ensures the safety and well-being of the park's inhabitants.

  • Quiet Observation

Loud noises stress the animals. Keep conversation low and silence all mobile devices.

  • No Feeding

Human food disrupts natural diets and behaviors. Never throw food to wildlife.

  • Stay in the Vehicle

Never disembark from your jeep except at designated safe points like the dam.

  • Leave No Trace

Take all trash back with you. Plastics are fatal to the elephants and other wildlife.

  • Flash Forbidden

Bright flashes can startle or blind animals. Use natural lighting only.

  • Keep Distance

Maintain at least 20 meters from elephants. If they approach, allow them space.

Respect wildlife. Observe quietly. Leave only footprints and unforgettable memories.
